In 2019, the Asia-Pacific region will account for 64% of total e-commerce sales worldwide.

Global e-commerce is forecasted to grow 21% in 2019 to $3.535 trillion according to eMarketer. The Asia-Pacific (APAC) region alone will account for 64% of total e-commerce sales worldwide this year, experiencing 25% Year-on-Year (YoY) growth to reach $2.271 trillion. According to eMarketer, the APAC market will also drive 78% of global m-commmerce sales in 2019.
