The changes seen in 2020 were positive and negative for so many businesses. One of the positives is that many online retailers saw surges in sales and orders that accelerated their growth expectancies for the year. On the flip side, one of the negatives was that this wasn’t always easy to deal with, fulfillment, shipping delays and the concerns for workers health hindered the industry growth excitement.
The impact that 2020 will have on the ecommerce industry won’t end with the vaccination or when the world reaches herd immunity, it will continue. One of the ways it will continue to be apparent is how we discuss data, its trends and the lasting results, and with the footnote: *Pandemic.
