Patisserie Valerie is one of the most loved bakeries in the UK, producing lovingly handmade cakes since 1926.  After initially launching online in 2020, Patisserie Valerie partnered with Rakuten Advertising to rapidly grow sales and increase awareness of its new direct-to-consumer delivery services. 



Patisserie Valerie needed to achieve multiple business targets through the affiliate channel:

  • Achieve a 50% increase in sales by month three
  • Recruit at least 50 new order-active publishers by month three
  • Drive awareness of its new direct-to-consumer by partnering with a wide range of publishers to reach customers at all stages of the funnel

A key partnership was put in place with GoCertify to engage students and key workers which now delivers 15% of total sales.
